Rich Jerk Meet Rich Bitch

December 29th, 2006 by Author kim

I’ve shared how some of my colleagues are revealing how they make money with Affiliate Marketing.  Well, I forgot to mention another one - he calls himself “The Rich Jerk“.  Yeah, he’s obnoxious, but he is indeed filthy rich.  In fact, he is hosting a blowout party at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills next summer, and I hope to be invited.

The Rich Jerk’s Guide to Making Money on the Internet is the cheapest resource  I’ve recommended thus far. Plus it comes with a FREE CD-Rom. Your purchase is backed by a 60 Day, No Questions Asked, Money Back Guarantee. Order Now - you have nothing to lose!  Heck, you could be the next Rich Jerk.  Maybe I should strive for Rich Bitch - not.

Making the Most of My Addictions

December 21st, 2006 by Author kim

The first step in recovery of an addiction is admitting you have a problem.
Ok, here’s my mine… I’m addicted to shoes.  And Diet Mountain Dew.

But just recently I discovered I am addicted to GoDaddy.com.  I have bought and sold hundreds of domain names. So many in fact, that I created a spreadsheet to keep track of where I registered them and when they all need to be renewed, etc.  But over the last year, I realized I keep buying them from GoDaddy because 1) they are cheapest, 2) they offer lots of free add-ons (email forwarding, url forwarding, etc), and 3) their tech support has been good to me.  They should invest in a toll-free number though.

So, slowly, I’ve been moving ALL my domain names and hosting to GoDaddy under one login.  It’s gonna make life so much easier for me (and cheaper and happier) in the long run.  It is kind of a pain to transfer stuff, but I shall reap the rewards later.

And using GoDaddy’s hosting, I found another new addiction!  You can install wordpress with just a click (the platform this blog is uses), so now I’ve been obsessed with finding free wordpress templates for my sites.  So far I’ve bookmarked Wordpress Diva and Template Xtreme. This week alone I re-did this very site (cool, eh?), my main company site plus I made a new site - Coffee Affiliate Blog. If I can do it, anyone can.

The Secret of My Success

December 14th, 2006 by Author kim

I originally wrote this post for my House For Kim Blog, but figured it was applicable to this audience as well….

My mother sells Mary Kay Cosmetics (I want the new TimeWise® Cellu-Shapeâ„¢ Contouring System that is coming out!) Anyway, when she asked me to watch a video on “the secret of success”, I rolled my eyes thinking it was probably some recruitment video. But lo and behold, it had nothing to do with Mary Kay Ash’s business plan at all (although rest her soul, she probably knew the “secret”).

As we watched the video, my mother turned to me and said, “Kim, you already know the secret and didn’t know it… You wanted a new house, and you got it.” Maybe I do somewhat, but I feel one can never be too successful. So, I’ve been pondering the secret over and over by thinking positively and adding pictures of my goals to my internet start page. Not only monetary goals, but intangible goals as well.

This past weekend, my friend, Barb, told me she is reading a new book out entitled “The Secret” and how inspirational it is. And from what she told me, it sounded exactly like the video we had watched. Figuring I can always use more motivation, I immediately ordered a copy of the book from Amazon (and one for my mom, and one for my brother). Amazon’s editorial review explains it best…

Fragments of a Great Secret have been found in the oral traditions, in literature, in religions and philosophies throughout the centuries. For the first time, all the pieces of The Secret come together in an incredible revelation that will be life-transforming for all who experience it.

In this book, you’ll learn how to use The Secret in every aspect of your life — money, health, relationships, happiness, and in every interaction you have in the world. You’ll begin to understand the hidden, untapped power that’s within you, and this revelation can bring joy to every aspect of your life.

The Secret contains wisdom from modern-day teachers — men and women who have used it to achieve health, wealth, and happiness. By applying the knowledge of The Secret, they bring to light compelling stories of eradicating disease, acquiring massive wealth, overcoming obstacles, and achieving what many would regard as impossible.

I just received my copy today. Guess I’ll retire early from the computer tonight to start learning how use the secret more to my advantage. Want your own copy? Order from Amazon.com (for the best price, I checked).
