Here’s a few things I learned this week that are probably useless to most, but thought I’d share so I now have notes if the need to know arises again…

If your Performics affiliate links are all giving you a 400 Bad Request error saying the size of the request header field exceeds server limit, it means your cc-dt.com cookie has too many entries in it. If you clear your cookies the problem will go away.

If you get an error when you try to shutdown/reboot like this: “dwwin.exe – DLL Initialization Failed – The application failed to initialize because the window station is shutting down” – simply do a “Windows Update” under Tools in IE. Worked for me.

After I installed phpBay Lite Plugin, I got an error on one of my servers (I can’t remember the exact error), and it screwed up the posts if I tried to use the plug-in. I fixed the problem by opening up the php.ini file and changed “allow_url_fopen = off” to “allow_url_fopen = on”.

New Wordpress plugin I just downloaded – YouTuber that lets you add videos from YouTube and adjust the size of the videos so they fit into your blog. I was finding that if I tried to add YouTube videos to my House For Kim blog that my post column wasn’t wide enough, so it screwed up the sidebar if I added a video. This should help!

I also downloaded the WP-EMail Plugin so people can email posts on to a friend.

I was going through my MySpace friend requests today, and I always check out the profiles before approving because I won’t approve anyone that I think will sp@m me. I found this youtube video on my one of my new found friend’s sites…

Interesting concept. Many of you know I’m a big Secret believer, and this is a great reinforcment idea to visualize your goals. If you are savvy enough, you can probably make up a video yourself. But myself, well, I’d be better off paying the $27 bucks to have MindMovies.com make one for me. Plus they are giving away $234 in Free Bonuses. And I love free stuff.

Speaking of CPA networks, there is nothing I hate worse than when they call and call and call and email and email and email me begging me to join their network. So I finally apply, mainly just to shut them up.  Then they call and email again wanting a full explanation before they’ll approve me on why I’m joining and how will I run their offers!?  Um, you wanted me, I don’t need you. Ok, off my rant rage now.

Feed Logo/Favicon Plugin by my girl, Harley. She created this plug-in just for me! I wanted to be able add a logo and a favicon to my RSS feeds. I even found this site where you can create your own favicon from any graphic (and it’s free). The plugin doesn’t work for all feed readers, but it works good enough for me.  Thanks Harley Quine! phpBay Lite Plugin This plugin allows you to add eBay auction listings to your posts and pages. You pick the keywords and how many you’d like to display.  Pretty cool. See it in action here and below (I used “computer” as the keyword and wanted to show 2 results). Ciao!
