I didn’t know that a hundred people in Nebraska actually used Twitter!  I even made the Top Ten. Are you following me yet?  And if you aren’t using Google Alerts yet, I highly suggest it to see who’s talking about you!

When I first started dabbling in affiliate marketing a decade ago, the industry was dominately male, which worked to my advantage to get a lot of free drinks.  But as the years have progressed, so has woman power! And I still get free drinks, so all is well. I was honored to make the cover of Issue 4 of FeedFront Magazine as one of the “The Women of Affiliate Marketing” (subscribe for free at FeedFront.com). I personally know a lot of the other women featured as well, and consider them not only colleagues, but friends. Those gals that I don’t know yet, I hope to meet next month at Affiliate Summit in Vegas. You can read the issue online here. My daughter had to remind me after school today that it was Free Shirt Friday by asking if I needed her to take my picture!  I had just gotten out of the shower – yes I was working in my pajamas all day – so definitely not a good photo opp.  Good thing, this free shirt from 1&1 was on the top of the pile that required a back shot, so you can’t see me without my warpaint.

I have to be honest that I’ve been pretty loyal to GoDaddy for most of my domain name registration needs, but after checking out 1and1.com, I think I am going to switch!  Their domain names are only $3.99 the first year and $8.99/yr after that, PLUS include free private domain registration, free ICANN and free e-mail accounts. Cool beans.
