Affiliate Programs Take Notice

November 24th, 2009 by Author kim

I usually prefer to sign up for affiliate programs through the major networks, mainly for the convenience of centralized logins and payments.

But I do sign up for indie programs if I really want to promote their products, and they don’t work with a network.  Or if they offer outstanding benefits, like this one I stumbled across: TheraBreath (I was actually surfing oral care for my daughter who has enamel hypoplasia).  Check out these highlights:

  • Lifetime Customer Commission (20% first purchase, 12% for life on future purchases, and they follow-up on your behalf)
  • Pays on Phone Orders!
  • Pays per lead for unique download of free eBook (plus lifetime commission if they then order)
  • 5% 2-tier commission (yes, this is my referral link)
  • Creative Content (banners, articles, coupons, product reviews)
  • Click for more details & sign up yourself!

Free Shirt Friday – Blog Talk Radio

November 20th, 2009 by Author kim

Today’s free tshirt is courtesy of BlogTalkRadio.com where you can listen to thousands of original talk radio shows as well as create your own free talk radio podcast.

While I was in Vegas for BlogWorld, I had the opportunity to be a guest during a live radio segment on Blog Talk Radio with Jim Kukral, Sugar Jones, Jim Turner and Angie Swartz. It was a fun experience, even if I did get bumped to accommodate actor Kevin Pollack on the show…

Agreed, Kevin is a bit more famous than measly ole me (and has his own online chat show), so I didn’t mind getting my slot pushed back.  Rumor has it he got divorced last year. Too bad he’s too short for me.
