Who is Andrew Wee?
I was anxious to meet Andrew Wee for the first time in person at the last Affiliate Summit in Vegas, as he is a brilliant man. If there weren’t a 13 hour time difference between us (he’s in Singapore), I think I’d be bugging him even more via AIM, as he inspires and motivates me every time I chat with him. I felt honored when he asked to interview me for his Friday podcast show. So honored in fact that I gave up my Skype virginity to him. My interview aired last week. (Um, can you count how many times I said “um”?). I suggest you check out all of Andrew’s podcasts, as he has interviewed many intelligent internet marketers. And I’m flattered he considered me part of that list! Thanks for everything, Andrew!
Useless Stuff I Learned this Week
Here’s a few things I learned this week that are probably useless to most, but thought I’d share so I now have notes if the need to know arises again…
If your Performics affiliate links are all giving you a 400 Bad Request error saying the size of the request header field exceeds server limit, it means your cc-dt.com cookie has too many entries in it. If you clear your cookies the problem will go away.
If you get an error when you try to shutdown/reboot like this: “dwwin.exe - DLL Initialization Failed - The application failed to initialize because the window station is shutting down” - simply do a “Windows Update” under Tools in IE. Worked for me.
After I installed phpBay Lite Plugin, I got an error on one of my servers (I can’t remember the exact error), and it screwed up the posts if I tried to use the plug-in. I fixed the problem by opening up the php.ini file and changed “allow_url_fopen = off” to “allow_url_fopen = on”.
New Wordpress plugin I just downloaded - YouTuber that lets you add videos from YouTube and adjust the size of the videos so they fit into your blog. I was finding that if I tried to add YouTube videos to my House For Kim blog that my post column wasn’t wide enough, so it screwed up the sidebar if I added a video. This should help!

Girls Gotta Have Goals - One Penny at a Time
I look forward to checking my online bank account balances towards the end of the month as that is when most of my direct deposits come in. CJ.com usually pays on the 20th. But I have noticed that about half of the deposits in the last year (this month included) have been 1¢ less that what their online reporting says I should have. Now, I’m not one to take the time or energy to complain about being shorted 6¢ in the last year, but what if CJ.com is doing this to everyone? They have thousands of publishers which could equate to thousands of dollars! Hmmmmm. I already have achieved CJ’s 4 green bar status, but my goal is to attain Performer Status ($10,000+ in monthly commissions) before the next CJU Event.
