TubeMogul.com sent me today’s free tshirt, and since they “empower online video” by allowing you to distribute videos to multiple sites at once, I found it only fitting that I make a video for today’s post instead of a just a mug shot of me. You simply upload your video to TubeMogul.com once, and then you can syndicate your video to several different sites at once, like YouTube, MetaCafe, Blip.tv and several more. I can’t wait until they add Facebook (are you my friend yet?) to the mix. Oh, and did I mention that it is totally FREE to use?! Yep, I’m all about free stuff. Plus TubeMogul.com offers aggregated viewership statistics including demographics, comments and keywords online and via email if you wish.
I usually use Roy Tanck’s YouTuber WordPress PlugIn to embed my videos into my posts, but I just discovered VTubeTools.com that allows you to customize your youtube player, including autoplay. I agree that having your video start automatically may annoy some, but it will help with your youtube view count thus increasing your website traffic.
Want me to wear your tshirt here? Click for details.
And have a great weekend!
I find the video starting automatically actually very cool, and not annoying at all. I’m going to look into that site, thanks!
They sent me one too! Unfortunately it’s too small
but I’m not giving it up!
Goona give the Vtubetools a try…And I’m gonna send you a t-shirt for your firday reviews!
Hey nice video kim and nice t-shirt with very good marketing strategy.
TubeMogal eh? I’ve never heard of them. I love the idea of syndicated content, but I’ve never found one for video. Thanks for the quick review!
There are a ton of sites you can upload video to and it’s hard to upload and track results through all of those sites. Tube Mogul solves that.
In my point of view While the uploading feature is great, what sets Tube Mogul apart from the competition is the ability to track the videos one have uploaded through the service, and any others that you can find a URL for – i.e. pretty much anything published on the web.
I’ve long been fan of Tube mogul and it has been furiously striking partnerships with a number of different sites where original video is created, including our video platform of choice Episodic.
Tube Mogul allows you to upload your videos to several sharing sites simultaneously but in order to take advantage of this one will need an account for each site you choose to upload too .
hey this is a unique feature that video start automatically i am seeing this for first time in any blog. tell me how did u made it i like to add it in my blog too.
What if I do this:
-Upload video to Youtube
-Embed youtube video in my blog
-Go to tube mogul and track the Youtube video URL
Will it track statistics for a video that’s embedded in my blog – or only if people watch it at actual youtube?
I’m asking this because Tubemogul is pushing a service called “InPlay” – I don’t quite undersand what it is – but it seems to be exactly what I’m describing above – tracking stats for videos embedded on YOUR site (rather than YT, Viddler, etc).
I’m doing a launch tomorrow and it’s extremely critical that I track video view time (not just views). Will the free version of Tubemogul tracking give me what I want?
