Free Shirt Friday - ShareASale

There was no “Free Shirt Friday” last week, due to the fact that 1) it was the the Fourth of July Holiday, and 2) I was a bit hungover from my brother’s 30th birthday party.
This week’s tshirt is from ShareASale.com (SaS), great parasite-free network for both affiliates and merchants. It came packaged in plastic shaped as a star, SAS’s emblem. They were the first ones I knew of to use the cool packaging concept (they also throw the coolest parties). I have since received a few more shaped tshirts waiting in my “free shirt tote”, so stay tuned for more.
I received another star shirt from ShareASale.com a couple of years ago and wore it when I lost my luggage in Orlando. Trust me when I say these shirts come out a bit wrinkled, and I recommend washing before wearing, unless you like the crinkly look.
Note the bandage on my wrist - I had a slight mishap yesterday and had to have stitches! After that, I need to ask Brian if he has any extra ShareASale pint glasses to spare.
Please note I am still new at this video-blogging stuff. I used my flipcam propped up on a tripod, but could not get the video uploaded to Movie Maker to edit/add titles, etc. I clicked on “download codecs automatically” and restarted, but still no go. I also experimented with TubeMogul, where you can upload your video, and it then uploads to the various video-enabled sites. I tried to upload to five different sites, but it kept timing out and only uploaded to Google. I’ll try again when I have more patience.

I decided to play around with youtube’s video annotations, and added to this video. Pretty easy. The speech bubble and notes are showing up on the actual youtube site, but not on my embedded video (as of yet anyway, and yes, I checked to make sure they didn’t change the id on me afterwards).

Hey, you’re doing a great job, don’t worry about the movie maker and stuff! Congrats.

The first time I met you you were wearing your wrinkled Shareasale shirt. You should make it a regular part of your wardrobe at affiliate events.

Yes, Scott, I remember that day well! It was 2 years ago.
I was in a depressive state despite losing my luggage, but decided I could not sit in my hotel room and feel sorry for myself.
So went to lunch and decided to make new friends, thus sitting at a table with a bunch of guys I had never met.
As part of my dramatic story, I said I was single. Then, the first thing Mr. Grady asked me was “What’s wrong with you?” and I’ve liked him (and you) ever since, go figure.
