Meet Me at Affiliate Summit

Will Blog For Food Tshirt

Shawn Collins gave me this “Will Blog For Food” tshirt (with AffiliateSummit.com written on the back) while I was in New York City last week for the Social Media Affiliate Summit.  I have to admit that I’m kind of a picky eater.  Ok, I take that back, I’m a very picky eater.  I’m a meat and potatoes and pizza girl.  I usually don’t eat hotdogs, but I like the ones from our local meat locker (yes, the ones that nearly burned down my new house).

I think I got burned out (no pun intended) on hotdogs when my mother used to pack my lunch everyday (cuz I wouldn’t eat school lunches) with a hotdog in a thermos of hot water (or maybe it was when I discovered what hotdogs were really made of).  Yesterday on the radio, Angie from US92, was getting Scooby Doo Vintage Metal Thermos Lunch Boxheckled about her mother packing ”hotdogs in a thermos” when she was in school!  I could so sympathize!  And if I didn’t eat hotdogs, I ate SpaghettiOs or mac-n-cheese in my heated thermos (I didn’t and still don’t like cold sandwiches).

Come high school time, I moved in with my dad, and well, it wasn’t cool to carry a metal Scooby Doo lunch box around, so I took (I said took, not ate) school lunches.  Everyday I traded my main course (except pizza and chili days) with one of the boys for either their dessert or chocolate milk.  What’s up with nowadays letting kids add alacarte items for lunch?  It’s costing me a small fortune in lunch money.

Anyway, back to the subject at hand -  I think Shawn & Missy could sell these tshirts, as they are way cooler than the ones for sale on Cafepress.  I’d buy one that says “Will Blog For Just About Anything” as God knows I have.

Want me to blog about you?  Just send me a tshirt!

Seriously? She sent you to school with a hotdog in a thermos?

China Air used to actually serve hot dogs in warm water as an in flight snack. Of course it was better than the fried chicken drumstick in warm water. They were slow to adopt microwave ovens…
