Danalyn West from oDesk.com sent me today’s featured free shirt! oDesk is an online marketplace that unites businesses (or individuals) with remote freelance service providers. Unlike other similar sites (ie Elance.com), oDesk’s primary focus is on long-term, time-based work.
Hire, Manage, and Pay remote contractors as if they were in your office.
- Hire the best from thousands of certified and rated professionals.
- Manage your team as if it were local with a filmstrip view of work performed.
- Pay only hours worked. No commitment.
Visit oDesk.com for more details! And thanks for the shirt!
My photographer (aka my 10-year-old daughter) made up a song while reading the shirt’s words (go ahead and sing along)… ”One Job at a Time… Saving the World” to the tune of “One Step At A Time” by Jordin Sparks.
Want me to model your shirt? Send it to me!
P.S. My apologies for the lack of updates – my life has been full of drama! But it’s back to business now…

I like the shirt. It’s quite simple. But I wonder how they come up with that design? Is that a penguin with a kid?

Sorry, I’m a little late to the party. Thanks for modeling the shirt. Your daughter sounds adorable. We might have to adapt that song, too! Haha!
In response to the comment above, oDesk started as a marketplace geared more toward programmers and “geeks”. The penguin is the linux (operating system) mascot. We decided to incorporate that into the original t-shirt designs. Since then, oDesk is no longer just for “geeks”, but we haven’t quite updated our t-shirt designs to reflect that.
Thanks again for this post, Kim!
