Free Shirt Friday - Foreclosure.com

When people contact me about sending a free tshirt to wear for this column, I try to specify my preferred size (Large, please), but I still end up with various sizes waiting in my “Free Shirt Box”.  I made my brother model various XL tees the other day so I have some pics in reserve in case the need arises that I don’t feel like getting out of my pajamas (I also made him dust & vacuum, but that’s another story).  Anyway, today is one of those days.  I’ll continue to sit here in my fleece jammies and blog while you look at my linebacker of a brother…

Nick wearing Foreclosure.com Tshirt

Today’s t-shirt is from Foreclosure.com - the back of the shirt is the exact same screenprint as the front. Foreclosure.com offers a nationwide real estate search on foreclosures, preforeclosures, tax liens and distressed properties.  Great site if you’re in the real estate market.  They offer an internal affiliate program (25%+ recurring commission on subscriptions) and a program on CJ (payout $7 lead, $31 sale).  And they offer some cool marketing tools, even a Wordpress PlugIn (but I didn’t want that in my sidebar).  I used their LAVA Listings Code, but it uses Javascript, and I couldn’t incorporate it into this post, even after downloading this Inline-JS WP Plugin.  So, click here to see the Lava Listings in action.

P.S.  I actually paid money for a t-shirt because I couldn’t resist this one.

Things From Another World / TFAW.com, rocks! Not only did I win a whole set of collectible Star Wars books at their Affiliate Summit Meet Market booth drawing in Vegas, but I also scored this free Umbrella Academy t-shirt!  Obviously it’s a bit small for myself, so this time I made my photographer (aka my daughter) be the model, and I took the pic!

I’m not a comic book connoisseur so had to wikipedia The Umbrella Academy

The Umbrella Academy is a comic book limited series written by Gerard Way of the rock band My Chemical Romance. The members of the Umbrella Academy, a disbanded group of superheroes, reunite after the death of their adoptive father, “Sir Reginald Hargreeves”. Hargreeves, an alien disguised as a famous entrepreneur, collected the members of the Umbrella Academy shortly after their birth and trained them to save the world from an unspecified threat. After his death, the members carry on his plan to save the world.

The Umbrella Academy comic series and other memorabilia, including the t-shirt shown above, are available for sale on TFAW.com

TFAW.com also has an affiliate program set up on ShareASale. And their affiliate manager, Dale LaFountain is super cool and super nice, and I’m not just sayin’ that because he has blackmail material on me. Honest. ;)

Want to send me (or my daughter) a free tshirt for some free link love?  Contact me!

P.S. Don’t forget to enter my “Giving Away the Goods Contest” before June 15th!

Kim in SDSU tshirt

It didn’t seem fair to my “little” brother that I featured my sister’s college tshirt and not his, especially when I’ve gotten him to “model” for me a few times for this very blog.  Nick is an offensive lineman for the SDSU Jackrabbit Football team (can you guess what his jersey number is?) and has his athletic profile on GoJacks.com.  He will graduate in December with a degree in Construction Management, so maybe he can be the contractor when I decide to build House for Kim 2.0.

More bloggers are duplicating Shoemoney’s Free Shirt post idea, including Scott Jangro, who decided to add a twist to the concept by adding a chin pose.  Great way to think outside the box.  I thought about mocking copying the pose, but couldn’t pull it off. Scott, I think you may have a Smiley Face tshirt in your closet that would make a great chinpose pic??

Want me to pose in your shirt?  Contact me. I also have some tshirts I can send out to any interested bloggers.  You know what to do.

The Super Affiliate Handbook: How I Made $436,797 in One Year Selling Other People's Stuff OnlineHow would you like a brand-spankin’ new copy of Rosalind Gardner’s The Super Affiliate Handbookand not the eBook, but the printed version that sells for $59 at Amazon!?! Well, you’re in luck because I have one to give away!  But I don’t want to give it away to just anyone; I want to give it to someone to who is truly interested in learning more about affiliate marketing online, so I made a few rules (don’t worry, they’re easy)…

1.  Subscribe to my RSS feed.  You can do this by entering your email address in the upper left hand column of this very page.  Or click here to enter your email address.  You must use a valid email address as you will have to verify via a confirmation email.

2. Leave a comment on this post.  Tell me why you want to win this book in a sentence or two.  Please use the same email address that you subscribed to the RSS feed with, so I can verify (it will be private and will not appear).  I will then use that email address to contact the winner to ask for your mailing address.

3. That’s it!  See, that wasn’t so hard.  Now I have to add the legalities… You can only enter once.  Duplicate entries will be voided.  The book will only be sent to a US address (because I am too lazy busy to go to the post office, so I use Stamps.com).  And you have to be the “age of majority” in your state (I’d say 18+, but Nebraska is a crazy state in which you have to be 19+, go figure).

Enter by June 15th, 2008!  I will announce the winner with a blog post (and picture and free link love if you wish).  Remember, you can’t win if you don’t enter!
