Free Shirt Friday – Vistaprint

December 11th, 2009 by Author kim

Today’s free tshirt is courtesy of Vistaprint.com.

I have been ordering free business cards from Vistaprint for years. They offer several free designs that you can add your personalized text to, and you can receive 250 cards free (just pay shipping, around $5). And the offer isn’t just for first-time users – you can place multiple orders and even re-order as well.

Business cards don’t always have to be just your name/address/etc.  I usually order them to advertise my various websites and offer promos, and then I can use them to stuff in goodie or thank you bags.

The only drawbacks are:

  • The cards are slightly smaller than the average sized business card, but nowadays you see cards in all shapes and sizes.
  • The Vistaprint logo is printed on the back of the card (free cards for you = free advertising for them), but you can pay extra to remove the tagline. But if I use them to promote myself, I don’t mind the tagline.
  • You will probably be bombarded with extra offers during and after checkout, so be sure you are aren’t agreeing to any extra items or recurring charges (I never have, but my mother unknowingly has).

Vistaprint not only offers business cards, but free tote bags, free tshirts, hats, notecards, address labels and more as well – see all Vistaprint’s offers.

Vistaprint has a reliable affiliate program via CJ that pays $3 per lead, but you can get higher payouts through various CPA networks. For example, this Free Postcard Offer (I’ve ordered these several times as well) pays out $14 per lead through MarketLeverage.

Happy Friday!

I came home from Affiliate Summit in New York City with 25 new tshirts to wear for my Free Shirt Friday columns! Recovering from jet lag and information overload, I haven’t had time to model any shirts, thus you get a tee pic* from the actual trip!

I was lucky to win a ticket to the Market Leverage Yacht Party (thank you Dina Riccobono!) which took place aboard the luxury yacht, the Valiant.  Despite a few mishaps (limo late and then took us to the wrong pier), we were still able to tour the New York harbor and enjoy the beautiful view with cocktails and food prepared by Top Chef finalist Casey Thompson.

Casey was not the only non-affiliate celebrity I met while in NYC. I was star struck indeed!  I also met many new internet superstars, so stay tuned as I plan to blog about them and notes from the conference in upcoming posts.

*I presume the “I’m on a yacht” tshirt design was inspired by the “I’m on a boat” song, which was remade in video by HeatherinBC.

Free Shirt Friday – Market Leverage

This video was embedded using the YouTuber plugin by Roy Tanck. Adobe Flash Player is required to view the video.

I had Tatym videotape me opening the big bag of goodies that Debby Banning of Market Leverage sent me this week. And this isn’t just some exhibit hall schwag, this is some NICE (expensive) stuff…

Adidas Duffel Bag (my daughter claimed this for track) containing…
Royal Blue Fleece Blanket (will be great for outside sporting events supporting the Pierce Bluejays)
Port Authority Sport-Tek Fleece Pullover (fits me perfectly)
Nike Golf Polo Shirt (too small for me, but will give to my friend that golfs a lot)
NAP Flight Kit (inflatable pillow, eye mask & earplugs – would have been great for my flight to London)
iWear Video Eyewear (my kids are fighting over this, but will have to share with me!)
Pen / USB Flash Drive Duo (cool concept)
$150 gift certificate to SpaFinder.com (Swedish massage, manicure & pedicure, here I come) and a
iNeed Lumbar Massage Pillow by Brookstone (I so needed one of these)

WOW!  Can anyone beat that?  And all I asked for was a t-shirt! Thank you, thank you!

I have to admit I forgot I was even an affiliate for Market Leverage (so many CPA networks, so little time), but you can guarantee I won’t forget about them now!  In fact, I have their page of offers opened up on my other side-by-side screen looking at their offers now to promote.  And they have a co-registration program which I’m excited to test out.

What are doing still reading this?  Go sign up to be a Market Leverage affiliate yourself and see if they like you as much as they like me. Or vice versa. ;)
