ShareASale Photo Booth

Brian Littleton & Kim Rowley in ShareASale Photo BoothBrian Littleton from ShareASale sent me an email yesterday to check out the new ShareASale Photo Booth – what a hoot! They uploaded the photo booth pictures from their carnival themed exhibit at ASW09 in Las Vegas.

The pics of me are none too flattering (and I sure didn’t think they’d pop up online), but they are fun nonetheless. Check out my mugs with Brian himself (head honcho of ShareASale), BajaLori (my mentee) and Mike (of Synner Design aka my brother).

And they plan to bring back the photo booth for ASE09 in New York City!  Will I see you there?

P.S. Jason Rubacky now works for ShareASale, too! What a fun place to work!

Free Shirt Friday – BowlingShirt.com

Kim in BowlingShirt.com

I received several free shirts while at Affiliate Summit in Vegas for my Free Shirt Friday posts. One of my favorites was this Bettie Page Embroidered Logo Black & Red Swingmaster Bowling Shirt I received during the Midnight Bowl-A-Rama at the Gold Coast Lanes from BowlingShirt.com!  We bowled after the ShareASale Under the Stars 80’s Party (my prom pic made the invitation), thus the reason for my high bangs, side ponytail, blue eyeshadow and Madonna gloves (thanks to Connie Berg for those - my daughter has been wearing them 24/7 since I arrived home). My web designer (aka my brother, Mike) received a Turquoise Hilton Encore Bowling Shirt.  Can you tell we had FUN?!

The BowlingShirt.com affiliate program is managed by GTO Management and housed at ShareASale.  Shown above is Joel & Karen Garcia (such a cool couple) from GTO with Josh from BowlingShirt.com.

The whole clan clad in Bowling Shirts

Here’s the whole clan of bowlers clad in our new bowling shirts from BowlingShirt.com!  We ended up bowling again two nights later where I doubled my score (wasn’t hard when I didn’t even break 100 the first time)! Thanks for the bowling shirt, BowlingShirt.com!  Kind of makes me want to be on a bowling league just to order a personalized bowling shirt!

Are you on my Wall of Names?

October 29th, 2008 by Author kim

I originally went to college to be a commercial artist.  And well, you can see where that got me.  I never got into computer graphic art (I’m definitely no Jen Goode).  I have to bribe my brother for logos and such after I free-hand sketch them out.

It seems I’ve always been obsessed with creating collages, as you can see from this 80’s era poster* to these shoe pictures I created. So I had an idea when I was building my new house that I wanted to completely cover (aka wallpaper) one of the walls in my office with business cards from people I’ve met.  Well, I’ve been in my house over two years now and just decided to start on my “wall of names”.

Last night, I started glue-sticking (is that a word?) my collection of business cards to poster boards (as if I had nothing better to do) and plan to cover them with shellac of some sort before tacking them to the wall.  The award for the most business cards from different companies goes to Brook Schaaf.  Funny to see how people have changed companies and focuses over the years.  Some people even fell off the face of the earth.

Collage of Business Cards

This sample pic doesn’t do the project justice, it really is cool.  I ran out of posterboard and glue sticks, so hopefully it won’t take me another two years to start working on it again.  Stay tuned.

*If you like that 80’s creation of mine, you’ll love my painted Zena jeans.
