Free Shirt Friday - PeaPod
It took me longer than normal to write this post because I upgraded to Wordpress 2.5 and have been playing around with all the neat new options. I can show/hide the “Kitchen Sink” - ok, I find humor in the small stuff. I will definitely have to upgrade some of my other blogs, if I could just find a few extra hours in the day to play more on the computer.
So, without further udo, today’s tshirt is courtesy of PeaPod.com - “Spread Peas on Earth” with peas arranged as a “Peace” sign - you gotta admit that’s pretty clever advertising. I hope whoever came up with that slogan got a raise. Peapod is an online grocery store, and if you’re lucky enough to live in one of their service areas (Chicagoland, Milwaukee, SE WI, CT, MA, RI, NY, NJ, Washington DC, MD, VA), you can get $10 off your first order through this link. No Nebraska, drats. I order practically everything online, and someday I’m sure I’ll be able to order perishable groceries as well. PeaPod has affiliate programs through CJ.com (pays $10-$20 depending on number of actions) and OfferForge (pays $12).
I won $250 prepaid commission (or so my certificate says) from OfferForge at Affiliate Summit in Vegas, but I’m still waiting patiently for my check. And Squeak won a “Strategy in a Box” (or so her certificate says) from them, whatever that may be, and it’s ”valued at $2500″. She tried to “sell her box” for $25 to our dinner table that night, but didn’t have any takers, and she hasn’t even heard back from them about getting a prize. Their network looks respectable, but I’m not going to promote them until/if I get paid and Squeak gets a response. Because my favorite networks communicate and cut checks in a timely fashion.

I’m still trying to FIND all the OfferForge prize winners! Unfortunately we did not get a list from the Summit - we were swanning around and totally missed the presentation, lol. What can I say - South Africans in Vegas will stand and gawk at stuff and totally forget the time.
Anyway - claiming’s really easy - your affiliate account has been pre-opened (all certificates should carry an affiliate ID and password to access). All you need to do is log in and update your affiliate account information.
The check will be processed with the very next run -and I’ll have it to you in no time at all (or paypal’ed over if you prefer).

I got a message from my peeps, Nelson, who was in charge of prize paperwork - that Squeak had mailed him about the Strategy. So sorry, the strategy was supposed to go out to a Merchant, who’s looking for an affiliate marketing strategy - seems it ended up in her hands by act of random-handhout
I’ll follow up with her and see if she wants to donate it to a friendly merchant - or auction it off - hell for $25 or even 10 times that I’ll buy it back myself
I may attach strings, though
