Internet Marketing Pillow Talk with Kim

I wasn’t loving the WIMP Weekly Wrap-up phrase, so I decided to go all Ricki Lake and Bethenny* on you and came up with posing in pajamas (I borrowed these gems from Tatym) surrounded by pillows. If I get brave enough I may even start to do a podcast or vlog, since the title does actually include the keyword “talk” and not “type”. That being said, let’s get on with the latest and greatest internet marketing news currently circulating.

TechCrunch exposed why Facebook poached David Marcus from PayPal: Hacked Screenshots Show Friend-To-Friend Payments Feature Hidden In Facebook Messenger.

Social Media Examiner shared 14 tools to streamline your social media marketing while Neil Patel listed 35 tools that content marketers can’t blog without.

Lynn Terry and I have a lot in common, and she hit the nail on the head with her latest post, “Is Passive Income A Myth?” I’d love someday to spend a day with her!

I’d also like to meet Ann Handley, dubbed the Queen of Content. I just ordered her new book “Everybody Writes” and can’t wait to start reading it.

Affiliate Goddess Linda Woods is back in the OPM world now working for Madrivo. Maybe it’s true that women will overtake men in affiliate marketing?

In lieu of a Free Shirt Friday post this week, Affiliate Summit is giving away some super cool shirts. Grab one while the getting is good.

Remember how I’m intrigued with good TV commercials? I can’t say Matthew McConaughey’s Lincoln commercial is good, but the retake with Ellen DeGeneres is awesome.

Like my “Always Kiss Me Goodnight” bedroom wall decal? Yeah, so do I. And with that, I bid you Good Night.

*Wait, it’s not a good omen that both Ricki Lake and Bethenny were cancelled, but they did both call their segments “Pajama Parties”.  “Pillow Talk” is so much cooler. Yo.
