People using voice search technology listed many reasons for using it. Some of them include its usefulness when having occupied hands, faster results, the difficulty of typing on certain devices, to avoid confusing menus, and even because it is considered to be fun and cool.
A mind blowing fact was discovered in a survey conducted by NPR. According to it, 65% of people who own an Amazon Echo or Google Home can’t imagine life without a smart speaker. This shows the impact that voice search and speech recognition devices in general have on our society.
