- Project Manager
Generally, this is probably a position companies fill by promoting from within, as it requires knowledge specific to that company and its procedures. The project manager oversees teams and assigns tasks related to a specific project or goal. Videoconferencing and email applications make it possible to perform these tasks from home, though some in-person management may be required. Salaries can reach as high as $110,000.

Certainly, this isn’t a profession open to anyone, but those with the interest and talent can make a decent living. This individual supervises a team tasked with analyzing data for the company. As digital advertising and marketing becomes more vital to the growth of business, the need for a greater understanding of web analytics will make these positions essential in any company. Currently, the director of analytics can earn as much as $178,000 per year.
