This week we had the pleasure of interviewing Sophia and Alex about their diaper bag review site.
Tell me about yourself.
We are a husband and wife duo from Manhattan, America! *Waving Hello*. We are parents to three beautiful and gorgeous daughters! Our eldest is 11, our middle one is 4 and we recently had our last little bubba who is already approaching the 7-month mark!!
We only recently opened up the doors to our new little website – The Best Backpack Diaper Bags. I’m not sure I would recommend that anyone ever attempts building a website when you have a little baby next to your side, but we are firm believers in chasing our dreams and we are hoping to build this site in a business that will allow us to be at home with our kids more often!
What prompted you to create a website for backpack diaper bags?
We know how hard it can be to find the right baby products! That first stroller … the first car seat … the perfect baby bag! All can be a nightmare and take up way too much time and energy!
After trying out various styles of nappy bags we have come to love the convenience of Backpack Diaper Bags! It makes life so much easier when you can have both your hands free to look after your children! Honestly with our first child we went for the ‘pretty’ diaper bag, messenger style and it was just a true nuisance. Every time I bent down, it would slip off and I would have to catch it under my arm to prevent it from tumbling down on bubs! When we found the ease of backpack diaper bags we were amazed that we struggled for so long! So hence the desire to share these bags with other parents around the world! And we are hoping that our reviews will help parents find the perfect bag for them, because after all, no one bag will ever be the perfect bag to every parent out there!
Do you have a “best of all” backpack diaper bag?
Oh that depends which one of us two parents you ask haha!! Andrzej is a firm believer that the DadGear Backpack Diaper Bag is the absolute best bag for dads! In actual fact the DadGear company is actually run by fathers, so they knew exactly what features were needed in the perfect ‘dad’ diaper bag! It is close to perfect!
If you ask me! I truly desire a bag that is stylish and gorgeous! The bag that I fell in love with is the Ju Ju Be BFF Backpack Diaper Bag. It is a designer bag so a little bit on the pricey side, but if you can afford it, this bag will give you all the features and accessories together with a super gorgeous look! It is the perfect bag for the stylish Mum!
How do you monetize your site?
Our main focus at the moment is currently on affiliate links. They are all linked to Amazon. We hope in the future to incorporate some ads into our header and sidebar as well but as we are still pretty new on the web, we thought the clean look would be a better way to appeal to our new readers.
Do you have any tips for someone wanting to create a review website?
Honestly we are still learning about review sites! But I guess my biggest tip will be to do proper keyword research! You need to find an idea for a review site that has low competition otherwise nobody will ever find you! Long tail keyword will be your friend, once you have that set up, we recommend you simply start building your website on a hosted WordPress platform and start writing your review posts. Good luck!
