This week we had the opportunity to interview the CEO of iNet Ventures.
Tell me about yourself (could be where you live, education, anything).
My name is Jay and I’m based in the United Kingdom. I achieved a GNVQ in ICT at the age of 16. Since, I have continued to grow my passion towards digital marketing and search engine optimization. Most of my time and energy is spent with business and digital marketing alike – I guess this is my passion. However, when I’m not doing this, I enjoy being with family and friends, games, hiking, and seeing new places.
How does blogger outreach benefit businesses or brands?
Whatever the brand, small or large, it’s a general ambition to continue the process of exposure. Thus, blogger outreach is a great way to achieve these results. However, selecting a good quality blogger outreach service is key, since there are many that are simply poor in quality. I believe that iNet Ventures is one of the better options for those looking to place smaller but regular orders. We’ve seen what many of the other outreach services offer, and it really is quite shocking – we stride to be genuine, authentic and a trustworthy outreach provider.
I see you provide the content for the bloggers to publish. Do you ever allow the bloggers to write their own content so it’s in their own voice?
Generally speaking, we prefer to provide the content, this is because we can guarantee that it will be of high quality and pass the guidelines of the publisher in question. It also takes away the burden from clients, as writing can be a time-consuming task. I also believe that it increases the great value of our service. I should also point out that our team of writers are based in English native speaking countries such as the UK, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Which brings me to my next question, do you compensate the bloggers for publishing your content?
This depends, sometimes, yes. Other times, no. It depends on the arrangement we have developed with the publisher and other scenarios. One thing I would like to clarify is; we don’t pay any website or publisher for link placements – this is bad practice and is actually against Google’s TOS. However, compensating a website editor or writer certainly isn’t. We will assess each website and see what we can provide.
If bloggers would like to be considered to publish your content, do have an application process or form?
Great question. We actually get publishers contact us on a regular basis, which can be done through the contact form, and then selecting ‘Publisher’ from the drop-down menu. When it comes to the quality, we are after a variety of factors, these include: good branding, great content, easy navigation – and all of the other necessary ingredients of a genuine blog or website.
