On the other hand, Amazon and eBay both boast large, existing user bases, meaning that if there is existing interest for what you’re selling, it’s relatively easy to build a brand in a short space of time.

If you have a talent for producing your own arts and crafts, whether they are jewellery, greeting cards, or anything else, you can turn your passion into a business with relative ease. 3. Bed and Breakfast
If you don’t mind having strangers in your home, or you are one of those people who even enjoys the idea, opening your home up as a bed and breakfast is an excellent way of meeting new people while earning a bit of cash at the same time. Many modern bed and breakfasts are largely or entirely self-catering, meaning that you are only providing a room for your guests, as well as the facilities for them to prepare meals etc. If you want to be more hands-on than this, there is nothing to stop you.
Being a bed and breakfast owner will allow you to cross paths with all kinds of people. You’d be surprised just how enriching and educational an experience it can be. People, both as individuals and as organizations, will always need websites. This is one of those industries that is essentially recession proof. Even in dire economic circumstances, businesses are still dependent on their websites as a way to reach new customers, and to serve existing ones.

Obviously, if you lead a life that is notably more interesting and unique than most, this will give you an advantage, but it is by no means a requirement.
